Merchant shipping consists of all vessels carrying dry and/or wet cargoes such as tankers, bulk carriers, gas carriers, cargo and container ships.

 

Whether your vessels sail worldwide or use regional routes we have full  coverage through our globally overlapping Ku band or C-band satellites.

 

In many cases we can provide global coverage through our system of Ku band spots. Ship Equip offers communication through a high number of spots, many of them overlapping making continuous communication possible. Switching between spots is simple and usually done on 24 hr notice or less.

 

C-band is the best option if your vessels are sailing long stretches of ocean where there is no Ku-band coverage; or if you want your vessels to have an uninterrupted broadband connection across the oceans.
